Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Marketo Engage

We use Adobe Marketo Engage for all business email correspondence to nurture and store leads. There is a bi-directional sync with Dynamics which allows real-time updates to contacts' information for the marketing and sales teams.

Adobe Marketo Engage easily allows us to pull in data from many sources so we can segment the leads based on product or solution interest.

As the majority of our sales are B2B, we don't have a very predictable buying cycle. Adobe Marketo Engage enables me to create intricate nurture flows to track our buyers journey.
  • Adobe Marketo Engage is a great platform for custom email design. The user interface is simple and easy to navigate.
  • With Campaign Optimization, Adobe Marketo Engage allows for real-time adjustments, ensuring my campaigns remain relevant and effective.
  • With Advanced Analytics, Adobe Marketo Engage provides robust marketing data analysis, helping us better understand our campaigns' effectiveness.
  • Adobe Marketo Engage crashes a lot or freezes. We don't have many users and less than 300k contacts so there's no reason it should ever crash.
  • It's really expensive! It would be nice to pick which features we want a la cart versus being stuck paying more for a feature and not using the others in the package.
  • Because of our integration with Dynamics, we had to use a 3rd party tool called Scribe for field matching. No one at Adobe will help us now that we have a 3rd party tool
  • Increased efficiency: I'm able to clone and repurpose successful campaigns.
  • Product Launches
  • Lead Management
  • Prospecting / New Business
Product Launches: Engage current or past customers to reach out with questions
Lead Management: collect enough info for our lead gen team to qualify and push to sales. MQL to SQL
Prospecting: we know each new lead takes a certain number of touch points before converting to an SQL. Once the lead is qualified, they get pushed to a sales team member
Adobe Marketo Engage is better suited for someone with strong IT knowledge. Its customization abilities are why we ultimately chose it over Hubspot and Pardot.

No

Yes

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe Marketo Engage go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Adobe Marketo Engage again?

Yes

Adobe Marketo Engage is great for lead gen because of the out of box solutions. We import leads from Google, LinkedIn, Meta, Tradeshows, and web forms. It allows me to track leads from the moment they enter the system to the point where they become customers. I use it to score leads, segment them, and nurture them with targeted content.

It's especially useful as a B2B organization.
