The goal to increase new product sales, adopt customer success programs, and drive growth in new markets. Marketo allows for program customization, email marketing, automation and tracking in each of these areas.
I've used Mailchimp for email marketing. Mailchimp has an impressive creative suite for building campaigns. The version I used years ago lacked a full analytical picture and tracking. I can't speak to the current version and features.

Adobe Marketing Engage is appropriate for sales organization to scale their marketing operations. It's less appropriate for retail organizations that focus more on online branding, commerce site analytics and less on membership and nurture programs.
