Adobe Premiere Pro - anything less would be uncivilized!
Score 9 out of 10
Vetted Review
Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Premiere Pro
I have personally used Adobe Premiere Pro for over a decade. I use it to edit personal videos and also create videos for our on-line company advertising. It is considered the 'de-facto' standard for good reason - if it can't be done in Adobe Premiere Pro, it probably can't be done.
Pros
- An abundance of Filter options
- Separating sound and video elements
- moving Text Balloons
Cons
- I think Adobe Premiere Pro could really benefit from a better 'Quick Tutorial' feature.
- Reorganization of all of the menus are in order - they have just gotten very long and could be more concise.
- Tons of Filters to choose from
- Built-in Audio editing and stripping features
- The ability to export to Tons of different video file formats
- Our video advertisements made by Adobe Premiere Pro receive a much better response than our previous video advertisements not made using Adobe Premiere Pro
- We get compliments from new clients on our video advertisements (which lets us know that they definitely Notice the advertisement On-Line)
DaVinci Resolve works nicely (though some things have a different flow compared to Adobe Premiere Pro). More importantly though, whenever I ran into a limitation with DaVinci Resolve, I can always find a solution with Adobe Premiere Pro.

Evaluating Adobe Premiere Pro and Competitors
Yes - We replaced DaVinci Resolve with Adobe Premiere Pro because of some limitations with DaVinci Resolve's editor.
- Product Features
- Product Reputation
If it can't be done in Adobe Premiere Pro, it most likely can't be done. With every other video editing product, we always ran into some limitation - not so with Adobe Premiere Pro.
I would have done exactly the same thing - try to edit a video and see how it goes!
