Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

ADP Workforce Now is being used as our primary HRS which captures everything from the hire date to the benefits each employee enrolls. We also use ADP Workforce Now as our payroll manager. It keeps a record of all vital employee info in one, easy-to-access location. With just a couple of clicks, I can find an employees personal info, payroll information and what company-paid benefits they are enrolled in.
  • Support is easy to access in a multitude of ways from a phone call to an online chat to discussion boards and articles.
  • ADP Workforce Now is very user-friendly and typically walks the user through a process.
  • The reports are plentiful! Some are very clear, some require a phone call and some coaching and some need to be tailored to the business. The point is that the info is there is you want it or if you need it set up a specific way.
  • Setting up a benefits plan is set in stone in a lot of ways. Switching policies mid-year is not ideal and has caused some ADP issues along the way. It would be nice to be able to make more adjustments to accommodate mid-year changes without having to create a brand new plan.
  • It would be amazing if ADP "talked" with our carriers, Cobra partners and 401K providers. Although we would still double-check the work, it would be so helpful to have the systems integrate with each other.
  • Dedicated teams that get to know our business, us and the way we work. It would be nice to call in and get the same team to help us navigate an issue. Like an account rep, but a team of "experts" in say benefits, payroll, tech support. Maybe its a group of 10 individuals, but eventually, we would get a rapport going and getting solutions to problems would happen quicker.
  • It has streamlined our payroll processing.
  • It has helped keep records in one concise place.
  • It is very easy for employees to manage their own personal information.
Our HR team is spending more time than we did previously due to Workforce Now. - The reason for this was due to a poor benefits plan setup that has taken us all year to figure out. The previous HR Coordinator did not implement correctly and therefore, we have spent countless hours trying to work through the issues we were having. I am confident 2020 benefits plant setup will be much smoother after having learned so much.
This is the only system of this sort that I have worked with.
I think larger companies will get more out of ADP Workforce Now. It seems like integration with other systems takes place with a larger group. Smaller companies will find ADP Workforce Now incredibly useful and easy to use but may have some more manual tasks to manage due to the size of the company being smaller.
