We have been using AdRoll to do Facebook re-targeting for our company and were able to generate some conversions at good value.

I like AdRoll interface more it is simpler to use and faster to learn and i think has better reporting as well.
I believe we will try to expand out Adroll efforts to see if we can generate more value.
I think a lot depends on brand recognition and degree social engagement. More engaged companies will have better chances of success.
