Overall Satisfaction with Agorapulse
Our agency uses Agorapulse for all community management that we manage in-house. We work on a variety of clients with various needs across multiple platforms. Agorapulse helps us aggregate all of those comments, mentions, and messages into an easy-to-follow stream. Team assignments help keep managers focused on their brands while allowing for flexibility to assign users on a temporary basis so that they can assist while coworkers are out on vacation, sick, etc. As a supervisor, it allows me to get a snapshot at any moment of who is behind and may need help so that I can jump in. For us, Agorapulse is all about community management with some use of the Instagram direct publishing feature.
- Simple, intuitive sorting system for inbound comments, messages + mentions.
- Easy to assign and un-assign members to different client teams, as needed.
- Easy-to-use publishing tools baked in to the program.
- Easy to quickly sort through multiple inbound conversations at once.
- Automated rules help keep the inboxes lean so that managers can focus on what needs their attention.
- Sometimes liking a comment or post will automatically close it out before a response can be typed.
- The tokens expire frequently and in batches from time to time.
5 - 4 work in social media marketing and 1 is tech support for the company.

As social media managers, most of my team provides the following to clients:
- Community management during business hours (both on their own clients and on other clients, for as-needed support).
- Content calendar development.
- Final content approval.
- Content scheduling and publishing.
- Paid media scheduling.
- Influencer marketing discovery.
- Influencer marketing management.
- Agorapulse streamlines our community management process so that managers can quickly assess community needs at any one time.
- Agorapulse ensures better supervisory across all accounts so that it's clear who is behind and needs assistance.
- Agorapulse saves unnecessary time spent involving IT for simple account coverage/permissions while workers are on vacation or out sick.
I'll break this into two chunks based on how we use our tools.
Community Management: Clear winner here is Agorapulse. It's easy to use, quick to learn and does what I want it to.
Community Management: Clear winner here is Agorapulse. It's easy to use, quick to learn and does what I want it to.
- Hootsuite - Community management is AWFUL. So, so confusing. Not a user-friendly layout in the slightest.
- Clarabridge - Good for companies that need lots of approvals/review, but extremely clunky and hard to use.
- Sprout - Similar to Clarabridge.
- HeyOrca - N/A
- Socialbakers - Confusing like Hootsuite.
- Meltwater - Way too much in one product.
- Facebook - Definitely pulls everything in but doesn't help with managing profiles outside of the Facebook ecosystem.
- Agorapulse - Of all the products we've used, Agorapulse has the highest success rate for publishing without issues. However, the post approval/review process doesn't work for us with external clients.
- Hootsuite - A little better than their community management but still awful.
- Clarabridge - Good for if you have a lot of stakeholders but super clunky.
- Sprout - Same as Clarabridge.
- Socialbakers - Too much in one product.
- Meltwater - Same as Socialbakers; it's all overwhelming.
- Facebook - Publishing Tools works 95% of the time and Creator Studio works 80% of the time. Not ideal for multiple profiles.
