Ascentis HR: Great Tool
Overall Satisfaction with Ascentis
We use it as our HRIS and Payroll system. We also use Novatime for timekeeping and we have the training module, however, we haven't launched it to all of our employees to date.
Pros
- Ease of employee entry and changes.
- Great record keeper with the ability to upload docs.
- The look, feel and ease of use of ESS is awesome.
Cons
- Running reports is easy but saving in different formats and on drives away from the Ascentis server is not easy.
- Additional fields that can be modified.
- Flags when things should be double-checked, for example, when rehiring employees we must remove all termination history.
- It has allowed employees to update data on their own with less traffic coming to HR and Payroll.
- It has provided a location for all HR and company documents for employees to access.
- It has given our employees a platform that has the look and feel of our company branding.
We like the Ascentis annual subscription model and customer service. We've had ADP in the past which had horrible customer service and high monthly fees.
Benefits support was outstanding, both at implementation and at open enrollment.
