Overall Satisfaction with Atlassian Confluence

We've been working with Confluence for years to create the material for all the processes involved on the account, all the documentation has been included on this. So when there is a new teammate it has to be based on all the documentation created for every step on the process and the organization skills on the page are amazing so you can categorize every topic in order. Also is really easy to navigate.
  • Maintain an awesome organization among all the documents.
  • Easy to navigate.
  • Great traceability.
  • It has a huge storage space.
  • I would like to manage development tickets on confluence so i wouldn't have to use 2 apps for it.
  • It would be good if Confluence works as a box to storage all the documents.
  • Are there any accounts for freelancers?
  • Security on documentation.
  • Storage for long and several documents.
  • Traceability on every aspect.
  • Trainning facilitation.
  • This can be faster to find the documents required.
  • Traceability saves time.
I do use both on my daily basis, Jira works perfect for me on the creation of tickets, defects, parent tickets and this is useful to keep all the documentation necessary to keep working on the projects, so if you get to work with both to me is the best way, also you can add the Box and you can have the storage for the documents to test against to and the assets to test too.

Do you think Atlassian Confluence delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Atlassian Confluence's feature set?

Yes

Did Atlassian Confluence live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Atlassian Confluence go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Atlassian Confluence again?

Yes

I am a QA tester and when i have a project assigned i usually have to go to Confluence to check the documentation for all the tasks to test and the processes to follow on each one. Sometimes on every account or company you'll find a very specific way to manage the processes on different types of testing, for example if you need to know on which devices you should test or which is the scope on the tickets.

But you can't report defects with this when you're working with Jira for that matter, so you have to use both and keep them close.
