Overall Satisfaction with Avaya Cloud Office
{Avaya] Cloud Office is only being used currently by certain departments, especially for video conferences. It addresses our need to have face to face conferences and during the pandemic, we have used it a lot more since we cannot meet in person. It offers better call quality than other solutions we currently have.
- Video Conferencing
- Advanced Logs
- Custom Integrations
- Screen Sharing
- Slow refresh rate when displayed in Higher resolution monitors for conferencing.
- Management of solutions can be a be a hard to understand.
- Flexibility with previous legacy equipment.
- Conference drops and dead airs have dropped more than 30 % since we started using Cloud Office.
- Better tracking of team messages, meetings and documents that are shared.
- We can now map and communicate more efficiently across departments.
Yes, I have certainly benefitted from having a one solution-does-it-all approach. Cloud office integrates [really] well with other existing tools, like Slack, Salesforce, Office 365, etc., that it makes it seem as if it was the same program running the conferences and sharing, instead of 2 different programs collaborating in a very efficient way.
We have benefited from it a lot, because we have access to our meetings and workflow input through one program. There is no need to open your calendar, plus outlook, plus slack in order to jump from one meeting to the next. You can do it all from the Cloud Office integration, and that makes all the difference in the world when you have a hectic schedule and need to join 10 different meetings in 5 different platforms in a given day.
To be honest we have not used a lot of advanced video or audio features. I have noticed that the video is very crisp and the audio that is sent seems enhanced, perhaps from the background noise removal that the program does. Because of the software, you do not need to have the latest or most expensive microphones to sound like you are talking with professional equipment, it is truly remarkable.
