  • It’s really useful for our stage of company to automate processes, increase use of staff accountant’s time.
  • It is really easy to use and I have not had any issues with it.
  • I like the e-payment feature.
  • It provides a good repository of If you need to do research and see when payments were made, you can see the invoice and when it was paid.
  • You have reports to support payment The reporting is pretty good.
  • International electronic payments are not currently supported.
  • Labor time savings for staff accountant – 10-15% of a person’s time currently – maybe 3 hours per week currently.
• It depends if/when we go to Netsuite or another product.
• Very impressed with the tool, helped automate our processes and save us our time.
• It is a good product for our company at this stage.

Product Usage

3 - Finance

Staff accountant enters in bills, controller reviews, VP Finance pays.
I do the administration myself. It is very simple, minimal work required for administration. It take just 5 mins to add a new user

  • Accounts payable: We use it as a storage tool for invoices from It collects invoices from vendors, tracks when due, and based upon due date, we use the system to pay invoices once per It reduces the headcount required to support process.
  • When we enter the invoice into, it supports two ways to pay – through a check or e-payment.
  • We can invite vendors to receive electronic They put their banking info into the website and can then be paid faster.

Evaluation and Selection

Previously we just did payables out of Quickbooks - manual checks and wire transfers.


It was a very simple implementation. We just gave our bank account information etc.


• For new hires, we train internally. It’s a pretty intuitive tool. There’s not much training required.


• It’s mainly through Chat that we communicate.
• They are pretty fast and responsive. Within one minute someone jumps on and answers questions.


• Generally has good hyperlinks and is intuitive.

  • Quickbooks
Native integration to Quickbooks. It is simple to use – there’s a icon in Quickbooks that we click and it synchronizes Quickbooks and It’s not automated - you have to click one or two buttons, but it is really easy to use and pretty fast. We also use Quickbooks as a hosted product.

Vendor Relationship

• They seem very easy to work with.
• The support team is responsive.
• No negotiation
• It is an inexpensive application.
• We spend <$100 per month on it.
• There’s a price per user and a transaction fee.
