Overall Satisfaction with Bizzabo

We purchased Bizzabo during the Covid pandemic because of an immediate need to pivot to virtual events. The product provided an adequate experience for the vast majority of our smaller events. The platform is undoubtedly an upgrade from simply putting on webinars.

That said, we didn't find Bizzabo's service to be robust enough or stable enough for our needs as an enterprise-sized company with very specific compliance and user experience requirements. After two years, we will be moving to another vendor.
  • Intuitive platform back-end
  • Great staff
  • Events can be built quickly
  • Platform stability
  • Focus seems to be on front-end (appearance) instead of back-end (functionality)
  • Some essential features require plugins (data events, payment processing, gamification, etc.)
  • Hybrid event ability
  • Ease of event setup
  • Ability to collect payments via the platform
  • Our internal teams were able to set up virtual events more quickly than before
  • Customers were generally satisfied with the virtual/hybrid experience
At the time we selected Bizzabo, Cvent's virtual offering was not as strong. Aventri was not considered because of the complexity of implementation and we were in a time crunch.

Do you think Bizzabo delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Bizzabo's feature set?

Yes

Did Bizzabo live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Bizzabo go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Bizzabo again?

Yes

If I were running events tech for a small or medium-sized business, I'd strongly consider Bizzabo. In a fast-moving company with a regular schedule of small events, I truly think Bizzabo would shine.

In a larger company with more complex registration flows and a need for detailed options on the back end, the platform might still be too immature. One of the biggest problems we faced with Bizzabo was the inability to translate system messages and some of the interface labels/buttons into local languages and the inability to offer a multi-lingual experience natively in the platform.
