Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT

We use Blackbaud everyday. Especially NXT. We are a non profit radio station that uses the BB suite. NXT is just one application of the BB suite we use. It is perfect for Major Gift Officers to use to track moves management, as well as Prospecting etc. We also use NXT to create lists for our needs. That could be donor list to a list of people that went to a certain event. There are endless possibilities that you can use NXT. The greatest thing about NXT is the ease of use and being able to be anywhere at anytime and get donor information when you need it.

  • "Work" Section to be able to track actions etc. Perfect for moves managment
  • Events Tab, can easily track effectiveness of events
  • Gift Managment helps you track gifts by donor level
  • Reporting Tab- Everything you need to see how healthy your financials are
  • It would be great if you have a recurring monthly giver, and they increase thier gift, to be able to tag that account as an upgrade. I know there are ways you can do this through custom fields etc, but it would be nice if it was allready in there

  • We have seen continued increase in total funds raised since switching to Blackbaud
  • NXT has saved us a lot of time in doing reports/ getting answers quickly
It has everything you need to be better at fundraising. We are really heavy on recuring giving and being able to look at retention rate and all the other reports, helps us make a factual based decision on our fundraising goals.
  • Online Training
Small Classes, feels like 1 on 1, you can ask as many quesitons as you want. Instructors even will help you after class with questions that we have. Even helped us with issues we were experiencing with BB and they fixed it all.
I joined the team in 2016 when we transfered to BB. NXT was not an option back than, and when we added it to our suite of BB products it made life a lot easier. I will say that people did say that BB is a lot better than Allegiance.

Would you buy Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT again?

Yes

It is really good for people on the go, and want to have a dashboard to be able to get to information quickly.

It would be less appropriate for doing mailers etc, as this is best suited in Raisers Edge (Data View)
