Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT

Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT (RE NXT) helps Queens Public Library manage many aspects of our fundraising: direct mail, major gifts, grants, events, and bequests. We use RE NXT's cloud-based solution to build our donor database, record donor interactions, track donations, and manage campaigns and appeals. RE NXT's analytics and database features helps us better understand our donors, including their capacity to give, how to segment them, and how to personalize outreach based on the donor's past relationship and interactions with our institution. Occasionally, the service crashes and I am unable to log in. This is the only reason I hesitate to give this product a perfect rating. Otherwise, I highly recommend RE NXT to other nonprofit organizations that are looking for a premium solution to streamline their fundraising efforts.

Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT provides ratings on individual donors. RE NXT rates a donor's overall wealth and estimate assets. Using data intelligence, it provides a suggested donor type (Annual Donor versus Major Donor) and a "next ask amount" (i.e. $1 - $250). Leaning on these insights, fundraisers are equipped to determine how best to segment certain donors based and determine what the next ask amount could be.

I received online training. I found the modules to be comprehensive and highly applicable to my work portfolio. The modules tested my knowledge so that I could hone in on areas that I did not immediately understand. After taking the training, I had better knowledge of how to navigate Raiser's Edge NXT and make better use of its features.

Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT is useful for larger nonprofits that can afford this comprehensive solution to managing donor relationships and streamlining various fundraising efforts. It's perfect for direct mail and moves management for major donors. Smaller nonprofits will find it too expensive. The solution can help track grant donations, but it is not a grants management tool.
