Overall Satisfaction with CaptivateIQ

We use CaptivateIQ for Sales quotes, Commission reporting/payouts, and Quote retirement. It is definitely a useful way to keep track of what/when you're getting paid and makes it easy to find errors or mistakes sales ops could make. I had this happen twice, which saved me personally a lot of money. Helped lighten sales ops load from commission errors and questions.

  • We don't use any of the tabs other than commission reporting - so we could be doing more.

I have used Xactly in the past, and it was a good tool. I would say they are both very similar, don't really have a strong opinion because they did the same thing. CaptiveIQ does do a better job breaking down commission payouts and future payouts for multi-year deals. So CaptiveIQ > Xactly.

We don't use anything other than payouts, so I can't give the platform a full 10 not knowing or using all of the features. Payout Reviews are done internally but this tools should be a way we could chat with finance if we have questions. Plan Management also is something we should look into using.
