ClickUp is almost there to achieving their tagline "One App To Replace Them All"
Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
I use ClickUp in almost 90% of the way I work, manage my tasks, collaborate with others, manage projects and analyze reports. Scope of Use: Day-to-day Project Management Creating different views as per needs (gantt, list, table , embed views are what I use the most) Set up automations Create variety of reporting dashboards Build a Client Health Checklist in ClickUp Transformed paper-based EOS tools into a collaborative online dashboards (since we are a fully remote company): we run our L10 meetings using the L10 dashboard I created in ClickUp I also created the Vision Traction Organizer dashboard in ClickUp I managed our EOS rocks, EOS To-Dos, EOS Issues List in ClickUp Admin settings management ClickUp in our organization is our main project management software where all of our client and internal projects are managed and delivered. We are now in the stage of even improving the way we work as we partnered with ZenPilot in improving our ClickUp structure. We build our processes in Clickup, templates, different views, and different dashboards. This helped a lot in overall organization of tasks, managing multiple projects and delivering results through dashboards. I also generate data from ClickUp to further build and perform analysis on various reports that is needed to help us become more efficient and profitable.
Pros
- Project Management
- Able to Create Custom Views (list, table, embed, gantt and views pulled from custom fields I created) are among the very useful views I use
- Dashboards
- Custom Fields
Cons
- Loading time
- Not able to generate or export the whiteboard I created
- Dashboards taking so much time to export my data
- I created a dashboard that would take me less than 5 minutes to provide the information needed rather than working on it on a spreadsheet and manual listing of data
- I created a custom table view and used the custom fields in generating dashboard. It is a 1 time setup and you can have the update of the client's health anytime, anywhere you want.
Collaborating on tasks is really improved. We are still in the process of migrating most if not all of our communication and collaboration within ClickUp and limit reliance on slack.
We are still in the process of building out these processes. But we have several client related templates already deployed in clickup so processes are already defined in delivering services to our clients.
I've used Microsoft Teams, Basecamp and Teamwork. I find ClickUp more sophisticated, complex but really useful features to manage projects and generate reports.
