Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
I've used Dropbox to share files with my freelancers for years! I also use it so that other folks can access documents that I need to share with them. My company consults on, develops, and evaluates educational assessments, and Dropbox is a secure way to maintain the security of those assessments.
- Secure way to share files
- An easy way to "undelete" an accidentally deleted file
- Easy storage that is accessible from anywhere I have Internet service.
- The ability to work "live" together on a document.
- Dropbox has made it easy to work with freelancers.
- Because Dropbox has the option to recover deleted files, I am able to recoup work that a freelancer accidentally deletes, saving time and money.
The one thing I like about Google Drive is the ability for folks to work on ONE version of the document. Other than that, I don't like Google Drive. It's difficult to keep the formatting. Inevitably SOMETHING gets all messed up and you almost have to start over to fix things. It's clunky.
Dropbox is wonderful, but I've never used a feature where we can all work on the same document. If Dropbox has that, it just might be perfect.
