Overall Satisfaction with Expensify
Management consulting companies often require client travel, whether to prospect new business, attend trade shows, or to visit client sites to perform work. Expensify takes the business-related travel and related expense reimbursement process and makes it very easy.
- It's easy to track and submit expenses for reimbursement (for employee).
- Easy to track and payout employee expenses (for the employer).
- Easy expense reporting/automation (for client reimbursement/accounting).
- Tutorials and user guides could be improved. The UI is phenomenal, and the product is pretty easy for people to learn, but the supplementary training materials we identified felt clunky.
- We were able to free up our admin staff to work on other things because the automated expense report capabilities that come out of the box with this product save us time and money.
- Our accountant offered a discount on our annual returns because this product makes his job much easier.
- Employees love the UI and the mobile app, offering the ability to photograph and submit receipts with one click.
Expensify is better in every way for expense reporting. It is easier to use, and easier to submit and track payout for expenses. Employees, clients, and the tax accountant really liked using the expensive tool as well.
While BigTime is adequate, we prefer to use it for time tracking primarily, and expensive for tracking expenses.
