Overall Satisfaction with EZ Texting
Using SMS/MMS to send messages to automotive customers whos vehicles are under recall from the manufacturer. We sent out over 100,000 messages between September and October on behalf of dealerships in the Southwestern United States. The ability to set the list with up to 7 variables was important and the reporting provided through the EZ Texting platform was helpful.
Pros
- The platform is very easy to use.
- Reporting metrics.
Cons
- Customer service isn't very responsive.
- Would be helpful to not be limited by 7 variables of only 10 characters per variable.
- We did see an uptick in response due to the MMS we launched through EZ Texting.
We were able to launch our first campaign within days of reaching out to EZ Texting. Although we had some hiccups mid-campaign and it took longer than expected to resolve, once we were back up in running, we were able to successfully complete our initiative. We were able to start seeing metrics within minutes of the MMS being deployed.
No coding needed for what we were trying to accomplish. With about 15 minutes of training, we were able to set up our campaigns and launch them within a couple of days. You are able to add tracking IDs to track via Google Analytics which is helpful in reporting.
We did not send picture messages with EZ Texting. The only reason we did MMS versus SMS was due to the length of the message we were trying to convey to our clients. It was helpful to have this option within the platform. Again, we did not use images in our campaigns so I cannot speak to its effectiveness.
We have not tried keywords yet with this platform.
