Overall Satisfaction with Gist

Initially, when we selected Gist, we were hoping to have a live chat option in our application and that was the requirement during early days. As we evolved, we were hoping to have a platform which takes care of our lead generation, lead management, and customer support requirements. And luckily, Gist did evolve and always exceeded our expectations.
  • Best part of Gist is customer support chat.
  • Live view of where exactly a visitor is and the ability to message them.
  • Event based email and message triggers.
  • Knowledge base management.
  • We feel Gist should focus on mobile app as well. It does need a little bit of extra attention.
  • Integration with Facebook Messenger is needed.
  • And in future, having WhatsApp integration would be killer.
  • Since we implemented Gist, our users are at ease and thus helped us converting more.
At times, its more complicated and may not be suitable for use cases like ours wherein primary requirement is to be available and not focusing much on the lead funnel.
I will stick to our state as of now. Whatever we need as a mid-size bootstrapped startup, we have that available on Gist.
