Overall Satisfaction with Gong

Our company uses Gong for a variety of reasons: 1) Training - allows our onboarded reps to review calls from experienced reps to learn how to best handle calls. 2) Reviewing existing calls - personally, we can focus on our own calls when we're on it knowing we can go back to the notes to review the calls after. 3) We can use the existing reviewed calls to write notes later 4) We can have team members and managers to review our calls to provide feedback on calls - both for individual feedback as well as for "competitions" and promotions we run. 5) We can use Gong to trigger over use (or under use) of certain terms / ideas / etc. 6) We can compare talk % and other variables to other reps to see how we're doing. 7) When deals close, it's an easy way for people future in the sales process to review the conversations that were held and how the communications went.
  • Allow for search of previous calls (speech to text is good)
  • Segment calls for a single account to allow you to easily review past calls.
  • Provide a good way for new reps to review experienced rep calls
  • Improved results from sales team (learning from others)
  • Better use of proper talk tracks
  • Timing saved on creating notes
  • Better focus on calls.
Solid product - I've had no issues with it.
It has - I think it does a good job of providing not only info for myself but allows me to compare my talk % and other variables to other reps on the team. Also, easy to review calls from other reps.

Do you think Gong delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Gong's feature set?

Yes

Did Gong live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Gong go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Gong again?

Yes

Well suited for sales teams looking to improve their results and those that are open to feedback and improved training. For people that are uncomfortable with others reviewing their calls, it can be a learning experience or something that's new.
