Overall Satisfaction with Gong

Gong is good to keep track of important conversations happening in your organization. We use Gong to keep product teams in the know of important account changes. We have our sales team using the product and it has been great to share snippets of those using our sales methodology and for keeping managers informed. It is common for us to share snippets with other internal users and our customers. It has been a bit clunky to learn and gain full adoption, but those who do state that they get a lot of value out of the automated notetaking and being able to see all the related account emails in one place. Deal boards are quite tough for our sales structure, but look as though they are a great fit for many SAAS companies.

I think it is easy for those who are already using sales tech tools. The display is clear and it is easy to read what you are looking at. For those who have more trouble with technology it can be confusing to know which tab you need to go to to find specific information.
Gong has identified important key words for us when using the trackers but it isn't always accurate. Its hard to quantify if the information in the trackers has truly provided us with actionable insights at this time. We also use specific terminology that Gong does not always pick up on.
In our market we have set up competitor mentions, different trackers around pricing and economics, and evaluate the supply chain. We haven't yet been able to see defined trends in our customers from the infromation we are tracking in Gong. Our customers are having these conversations with us though, they are just not always captured under insights.

I think Gong would be great for companies with younger associates or subscription related services. I have found it to be valuable for training sessions to provide to customers after the call. I do wish I could filter the feed by internal and external calls, but if you are a seller using this strictly for customer calls it would be a great fit.
