GoToMeeting is used to connect with outside parties within the business. It combines different departments and gives the company no limits. It is also used for conferences and learning opportunities for the staff.

Pros and Cons

GoToMeeting is an easy to use program.
GoToMeeting helps the staff conduct meetings with parties who are unable to attend in person.

For our purposes GoToMeeting is adequate.
If there was a better on boarding for new users would be helpful.

Return on Investment

Good investment if you can get your staff on board with it.
Created a better line of communication.

Alternatives Considered

Skype for Business (formerly Lync)

GoToMeeting allows staff to create seminars and run them as a class where Skype can be used for a call and tends to glitch when adding others to create a full conference. GoToMeeting allows for more of a group setting, which helps grow a program and audience.

Support Rating

I have reached out to support just once, and they were lovely. It was for a small issue regarding linking a meeting which they resolved within chat, they were understanding and to the point. The directions helped me conduct my activity without delay. It is always great when companies have customer support who value their customers.

GoToMeeting program is well suited for users who need to have multi-user meetings. It is excellent to hold seminars where one person is in charge and allows you to archive videos where it is available for others. It would not be suited for people who do not have meetings that are only internal.
