Overall Satisfaction with Hootsuite
I wear many hats across multiple organizations, and Hootsuite is an important part of my daily business. I use it for our strategic external communications. I use it for competitive intelligence. I use it to keep myself aware of the world around me. Hootsuite simply allows me to keep all of the teams I work with better informed and better able to communicate with our external audiences.
- Keyword search streams are critical to help with competitive intelligence work and understanding what people are saying about the companies I work with.
- The main stream tames the Twitter firehose, making Twitter far more useful
- The ability to schedule most posts in advance is a welcome feature
- The app has a few quirks, but the quality of the app has improved considerably in the last couple of years.
- IT is sometimes hard to see long threads, but direct links out to Twitter solves this.
- Huge impact on our competitive intelligence efforts. With a properly curated Twitter feed and Hootsuite's stream search functions, we are able to in-house this function despite our small size.
