Overall Satisfaction with IBM Robotic Process Automation

As currently working in an Automation Department , there are various opportunities where we get the chance to know more about and RPA tool . As we know the trend of unattended automation is increasing day by day, the competition of RPA automation have also increased with various brand with different features and facalities along with the cost pricing. The automation bot basically used for unattended human intervention within a process
  • helps in creating automated process at business scale
  • good feature where bots can act on AI insights
  • good feature available like OCR activities and AI intelligent chatbot
  • Low code with multiple bot execution in concurrency
  • looking at the RPA market competitor UIPath , the IBM licensing is twice in Cost as compared to UiPath but offers better value.
  • process stability along with the flexibility in 3rd party integration apps.
  • unclear guidelines in the documentations and slow initialization or implementation
  • Licensing rate is decided by usage capacity for flexible business requirements.
  • For long term usage the IBM is more cost effective and better value for price
  • Improvement in cognitive feature as the bots frequently interacts with the data
IBM RPA platform is having features like Machine learning and AI chatbots powering the Intelligent processes with the less human intervention and automation. looking at the compatibility the RPA can have n number of use cases across the organizations .
The Chatbot by the IBM Watsonx Assistant can do more than that of chat by providing the quick and accurate answers across platform and provide dialog interaction in between the conversations .
One of the good feature of AI to complete tasks and providing the digital transformation is effective to save the time in IBM. Also others like Cognitive capability by interaction on data reduces the instances of the errors and increases the automation. Looking at Debugging the error side the resources and documentations are not fullfilled .
Looking forward to the long run the IBM provides the better cost effective licensing cost as compared to other tools. The cost is a bit high but the usage flexibility copes with that. The bots can sometime gets inaccurate and could get costly, IBM AI and cognitive interaction with data reduces those chances of the errors. Therefore IBM have point in advanced data extraction features like IBM datacap.

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of IBM Robotic Process Automation go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy IBM Robotic Process Automation again?

Yes

On comparing the market scenario, the Basic perspective is based upon the Usage and Cost of the tool. The IBM RPA provides the flexible and cost effectiveness licensing along with the customer requirements but gets the impression of High Licensing cost on comparison with the other RPA tools like Uipath , Automation Anywhere , Blue Prism etc. 3rd party app integration is one more hectic side , but the plus point is the AI insights to complete process
