Overall Satisfaction with Insightly
I use Insightly as the primary CRM system to collate contact information, manage the sales process and keep track of communications. I particularly like the search/filter system along with tags - makes it really easy to compile marketing lists based on given parameters. I also really like the 'relationship' feature and the fact that you can customise the relationship types.

- Ability to set relationships between contacts e.g. employee/boss, husband/wife etc is an excellent feature, especially as you can create custom relationship types.
- Backup of information is extremely easy. Highly recommended for peace of mind.
- Quick to load and use from many devices.
- LinkedIn integration, although I think this is due to LinkedIn's reluctance to cooperate with 3rd parties and not a fault of Insightly.
- Lack of IMAP integration - the CC method is too onerous.
- Increased efficiency, learning new CRM skills along the way as well as new business processes.
I use a combination of both. Base CRM is good for logging calls as it integrates with calls on your phone. After placing a call to a contact, it brings up a screen asking you to make a note of call content and outcome. Insightly would be even better if it did this.
