Overall Satisfaction with Insightly
I am currently the only one using Insightly in our organization. I use it to organize and maintain contact distribution lists for emails that go out weekly. We previously had several employees using it to organize their contacts, but they weren't actively using it so we deleted their accounts and upgraded mine so it had a higher level of functioning.
- Insightly's mass email feature is crucial for my business and is something I was unable to find with other CRM programs at a reasonable cost
- Contact tags are really helpful for me to organize my contacts into multiple groups
- The email integration has always been seamless and doesn't disconnect like other CRM programs that I've used
- Biggest weakness is lack of analytics/insight reporting on an individual contact basis for activity such as email opens, clicks, etc.
- Reporting in general is limited and not user friendly to set up. Wish they provided an easy dashboard of pre-designed reports
- Would like to see more integrated insights for organizations that are recognized by the platform and auto-generated (ex. company size, $$, location, etc)
Outcomes include importing and tracking marketing leads, nurturing sales leads, and tracking sales goals. Insightly provides the basic functions of contact management and sales workflow management, but lacks automation and additional auto generation of information, reporting, etc. We do not use Insightly to nurture sales leads and track sales goals for this reason.
I currently use Insightly to maintain email distribution lists, but have migrated all other CRM functions over HubSpot. I need the in-depth reporting and analytics HubSpot provides to more efficiently nurture leads and manage my marketing efforts. HubSpot's biggest limitation is that they do not offer mass emailing at a price point that is affordable for our small business, which is why I am currently using both Insightly and HubSpot.
