Overall Satisfaction with Jira Software
Our team needed an application to which could support agile methodology of Scrum. We wanted a tool to help teams plan, track, and manage their work. We use Jira Software to solve our problems of requirement gathering, backlog management, sprint planning and tracking, and reporting to management. We also use it for gathering requirements, roadmap planning and reporting bugs in a single place.

- Running sprints and tracking progress of roadmap, epics, story, task and subtask
- The user interface is great. It allows tables inside details, have common shortcuts and clean design.
- Can create custom dashboards and can view data in multiple ways
- Advanced access rights based on role
- Roadmapping can be improved to allow advanced roadmap in normal paid subscription
- Should allow to duplicate tasks for iOS, Android and Web instead of doing it manually
- The mobile app should allow bug reporting with just image screenshot and a single sentence and assigned to person.
- Jira Software has two settings for projects: Team level and Company level. The team level has simplified settings whereas the Company level has higher authorization and profile controls. So it can be used by both types of user groups.
- Its a single application for roadmap planning, backlog management, sprint planning, bug tracking and reporting
- Good UI/UX for understanding and using the product
- It was difficult to plan and track our product feature requirements in a single place. We also wanted a single place for requirement gathering, task assignment, bug tracking and sprint planning. Jira provided all these features in a single software. Jira is also easy to learn, implement and use so we chose Jira.
- Reduced communication mistakes and re-work. All requirements & statuses are at single place for the entire team to refer to anytime.
- Asana and Google Tasks
- Jira is more end-to-end solution than others. We have integrated two other Jira products - Bitbucket & Confluence to get more value for our product development journey.
- Jira Software is more customizable and can be adapted to the project management needs of both small and large teams.
- Jira software has better bug-tracking functionality as different workflows and custom fields can be used for the creation and assignment of bugs.
