Overall Satisfaction with JumpTrack

Digital Proof of Delivery, Tracking Drivers and Routes, Digital Signature. Route optimization.

As a small business, we utilize JumpTrack to improve the visual our customer sees. Utilizing Digital Signature and Digital Proof of Delivery makes us look like a larger company than we are. On the backside/administration side, we work with the route optimization and occasionally use the system to track drivers or find out where they are so we can get a better estimate of completion or customer delivery time. We have been using this system for roughly 9 months and have not rolled out all the features to our customers. I do expect to implement the customer view on my website later this year.
  • Digital Proof of Delivery - makes it easier to send to a customer when requested.
  • Route optimization - once setup, this allows my drivers to utilize google maps to find new or seldom seen customers and to switch routes with ease.
  • Route optimization is not always available or working.
  • Customer addresses are not always found in google maps.
  • Does not have the ability to reopen a signed invoice.
  • Does not have the ability to "redeliver" if items are missing.
  • Route optimization often needs (every day) human input to make it right.
  • Route tracking does not update often enough to show accurate driving route. Will show straight line from one point to another if it misses some time between gps points.
  • The positive cannot be measured in dollars. It is an impression we make with the customer about who we are as a vendor. Makes us look more legitimate.
  • Actual savings - not having to file paperwork weekly/monthly. Not losing as many signed copies. Not storing files for years just to keep up with retention needs.
  • Actual losses - reviewing each and every transaction to place them on the correct route. Completing route optimization for each route and then having to manually update or correct. Manually entering stops and updating addresses if they are not customers in our system for one off projects.
  • I believe this system currently is a Net Zero gain.
  • Plus it costs several hundred dollars per month and I have to spend additional money for data service to track the tablets we use.
I have used the back office to track driver efficiency or to see if they are utilizing the routes provided. We have not yet turned on the customer feature but plan to as we improve our functionality. My current goal is to quit working around the system and to communicate more with the JumpTrack team to improve the efficiency of the system.
We have utilized the POD (proof of delivery) system to pull and send to customers on request. We have not yet introduced the automated system. We still have too many glitches for me to feel comfortable with an automated process.

Do you think JumpTrack delivers good value for the price?

No

Are you happy with JumpTrack's feature set?

Yes

Did JumpTrack live up to sales and marketing promises?

No

Did implementation of JumpTrack go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy JumpTrack again?

No

JumpTrack makes us look like a well-funded and growing company. But it has a lot of glitches that don't make it plug-and-play. It requires more labor on the front side in an attempt to save labor on the backside.
I hope there will continue to be improvements made as we look to utilize the functions further.
