Overall Satisfaction with Litmus

In our organization, we support Fortune 500 companies' email programs and use Litmus to test rendering in email browsers. Typically sending tests from the ESP to Litmus, and often converting that to a Builder to troubleshoot. Collectively we send out hundreds of thousands of emails a day, and we need to be sure everything looks great, is readable, and is accessible to all.
  • Fast, typically accurate render previews
  • The Builder is very helpful and even faster
  • The community is invaluable
  • Sometimes renders are different when compared to real devices (not often)
  • Deeper visibility and transparency during the QA process, easy to publish and share with the client
  • Confidence in knowing our emails look great everywhere they should
  • Time saved not needing to test as much on physical devices
We have not fully integrated either of our ESPs yet into Litmus, but the idea has been on the table for a long time.
By using the Litmus tracking pixel, we were able to determine a MUCH more accurate idea of our subscriber's email client market share-- and learned some interesting things that saved us time and money down the road.
No, we are still stuck in the world of JIRA, but I would much rather use Litmus's internal review features. We do often share links to tests internally and look at each other's work.
Litmus is sooooooo much better. EOA may have one or two clients that Litmus does not, but regardless, it's far superior. More stable, easier to navigate, prettier to look at, the list goes on and on. The only downside here is the difference in cost, but if your company is footing the bill, Litmus is the hands down winner.

Do you think Litmus delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Litmus's feature set?

Yes

Did Litmus live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Litmus go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Litmus again?

Yes

Litmus is the G.O.A.T. for testing email renders. It does not compare, in my opinion, to the alternative psychedelic option. The UI is nice, easy to use, and it's almost never down. I love Litmus and couldn't do my job without it! So does our QA team.
