Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp
Mailchimp has been used as a means to manage and address our organization's audience. Whether that be general newsletters or specifically sanctioned surveys, the program is used to address key components of the organization while specifically being ran by our marketing department. With this in mind, Mailchimp addresses the problems of cohesive communication both horizontally across the organization.
- Easy Learning Curve.
- Stylish Interface.
- Various Design Assets.
- Limitations in Testing.
- A Need for Reminders.
- Lackluster Photo Editor.
- Better understanding of consumer interests.
- Increase engagement with upcoming events and classes.
- Increase awareness of philanthropic activities.
While Mailchimp advertises itself as an all-in-one marketing platform, our organization hasn't completely switched over to this program due to the hurdles and challenges [we] had simply using it as a mailing service. If such hurdles were addressed, we could potentially see the benefit in extending our brand and its voice more so over to this program, though we still remain hesitant.
As a multi-faceted organization, it is wonderful having a program that helps amplify and remind our audiences just how big and layered our mission has become. From announcements of grants to successfully funded donation campaigns, we've certainly seen a growth in engagement thanks to Mailchimp. That being said, in terms of lessons learned -- always plan newsletters in advance so you are not stuck with an inability to send test e-blasts and make sure to double/triple-check the audience to which your messages are going to. While they may seem like a no-brainer, just as much as Mailchimp is extremely helpful when working with you it can be just as detrimental when working against you.
