Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp
We use Mailchimp to communicate with our guests about upcoming promotions, events, and happenings at our company. Anything we think our guests would be excited to be in the know about we will use Mailchimp to email our database of about 20,000 to let them know what is coming down the pipeline.
- Easy to add photos to your email and cropping them if you need to within Mailchimp.
- Duplicating text blocks when creating your email is simple.
- Uploading contacts is quick and easy.
- Not a fan of some of the font choices, it would be nice to have more.
- How campaigns are organized I would like to see this organized differently so older campaigns are easier to find if you need to refer back to an old one.
- It would be nice if the reporting gave a little more info on if your email performance with not just open rates but clicks, etc.
- We've been able to continue to reach individuals that may no longer use social media.
- It saves us time and money by being able to easily duplicate previous emails and making small edits instead of always starting an email from scratch.
- They have a nice filtering system so you can send very targeted emails to non-openers or openers of a certain email campaign that was already sent out.
I know a couple of years ago I looked into using some other softwares similar to Mailchimp however it's been so long that I don't recall the names. I always find myself coming back to Mailchimp due to how simple and easy the platform is set up. If you're looking for a simple easy-to-use email marketing platform Mailchimp is the one you should look at the most.
Unfortunately our organization has really only used Mailchimps email marketing feature. We have not done any deep dive of their landing pages, website, content studio, etc. Our company is too complex to switch over a lot of what we do to Mailchimps all-in-one marketing platform. I would think this would be very beneficial for a small business.
The biggest success would be continuing to reach our subscribers in a day in age where people are flooded with social media ads, junk mail, and more. When someone signs up to receive emails from you that shows they're truly interested in your company and what you have to offer. This means Mailchimp will always be one of our biggest forms of marketing and reaching our guests.
