Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp
We use Mailchimp for all of our email marketing, which includes two monthly newsletters and emails regarding educational opportunities. We are able to target our unique audiences using Mailchimp. When I first joined this organization, Mailchimp was already in use. We switched to a few other providers and have recently subscribed again to Mailchimp.
- Professional templates
- User-friendly
- Nonprofit discount
- Customer service
- Audience tagging
- Analytic results
- Lost productivity
- Emails sent in error
- Professional-looking emails
- Emma and Constant Contact
We selected Mailchimp based on a recommendation from a similar organization. Our main reason is email deliverability, which was an issue with Constant Contact. However, the ability to send to the appropriate audience was much easier with Emma, Constant Contact, and Active Campaign. The email templates are much cleaner in Mailchimp and we are pleased with the look.
We primarily use Mailchimp for email marketing only. At this time, we have other methods that meet our needs for landing pages and the other features that Mailchimp offers. We are not in direct sales, so some of the testing features do not apply to our needs. I have inquired with colleagues about using various workflows, but at this time we need to be very specific with communication that could be used for a workflow.
We have only been back with Mailchimp for a few weeks. In my opinion, there have been some disappointments, but creating and branding our emails was very easy in the Mailchimp system. Their templates are creative and helpful for anyone who prefers to use those or you can create your own. We started with a template but designed it to be our own look.
