Marketo is being used by our organization mainly for email campaigns for new product introductions and housing the customer contacts and leads in the database. It helps in building and executing nurture campaigns and also sending any webinar or event invites that include registration links and submissions flow directly into Marketo.

  • Bidirectional integration and sync works well with Salesforce.
  • Ability to handle multiple activities of a customer in a single lead view.
  • Enhance Marketo sales insights functionality.
  • Ability to delete fields in Marketo.

Product Launches: Mainly used for communicating with customers on promoting any products or solutions or promoting any contracts or software upgrades for existing customers. Lead Management: Creating different programs and mapping with individual Salesforce campaigns that help in analyzing the performance of the overall marketing campaign and check for key findings.
It's most suitable for running email campaigns for introducing new products to the market as well as promoting any existing webinars or events. Has the ability to build complex smart campaigns that automate some of the processes internally within Marketo. I don't see a value in building reports that have details related to opportunities as that would be relevant to extract from Salesforce.
