Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our company uses Microsoft Teams on a daily basis, several times a day. It is used by our entire organization and helps us solve many issues, as we have constant meetings using Microsoft Teams. Since we are no longer able to meet in person with our customers and reps, Microsoft Teams helps us to stay connected and address issues that arise in the projects we run.

Pros and Cons

Easy to use and easy to set up future meetings.
Anyone in the meeting can take control and share content, not just the person who set up the meeting.
Choosing what content you want to show or what screen you want to share is clearly marked and easy to navigate.
Joining a meeting already in progress is simple and I love the alerts that let you know if someone started the meeting early.

When a lot of people are in one meeting, Microsoft Teams often glitches. If I am one of the last to show up in large meetings, often I cannot see anything nor does my sound work properly.

We use it for interdepartmental communication, project meetings, communication, and file sharing.
Microsoft Teams has only positively impacted our business, as it makes it easier to communicate with our customers and work out issues.

Alternatives Considered

Skype, Cisco Webex Board Series and Zoom

What we have used all these similar product for is collaboration, communication, and file sharing. Instead of using Zoom and Webex, we have consolidated communication on Microsoft Teams. I personally find Microsoft Teams much easier to use and better when it comes to collaborating and file sharing. Also, the integration with other Microsoft and non-Microsoft apps and ecosystems is amazing.

In all meeting situations for my position, Microsoft Teams works beautifully. I like that I can see my customer, co-workers, or reps, and that I can easily share content with them. I like that editing a meeting is easy, sending out invites is simple, and joining a meeting in progress works--Microsoft Teams is easy to use and has very few performance issues.
