Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use it for small group teaching at the undergraduate level. I teach primarily maths and chemistry. It allows multiple people to access the shared whiteboard and contribute then save a PDF of the classwork. It is used with tablets so students can work through problems and get feedback from the class.
  • Allows multiple contributors.
  • Can save PDFs of the boards.
  • Can load PDFs into the board for people to draw on.
  • Can get slow to update when you have 50+ pages on the board.
  • Some people had issues setting up their accounts.
  • Can be difficult to work out how to uncover/cover boards/pages.
  • Good engagement of students.
  • Allowed more interactive teaching.
Make sure students set up accounts well in advance as some people had issues.
Miro was easy to work with while on a Teams call and the students all managed to use it using a variety of different tablets/laptops, etc.
Much improved communication in classes allowing a more interactive experience.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Have not reviewed any others, but Miro seemed more reliable than other shared whiteboards I tried with my students.
Miro is great for small group teaching with multiple students contributing, particularly for maths and science where editing diagrams or writing equations is important.
