Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is used across several departments within our company. It helps us collaborate across teams while we are working in a remote world. We use Miro to organize our thoughts during design thinking sessions, and 'whiteboard' in a virtual world. I think of it as the whiteboard of our time.
  • Helps team collaborate from any location.
  • Has easy to use templates for various scenarios/thinking/planning sessions.
  • Easily shareable for editing or viewing.
  • We find that the board looks blurry at times - it happens randomly for any given user and any given browser/computer type.
  • Improved productivity.
  • Improved inclusion of remote teammates.
I was not directly involved with the initial implementation of Miro within the company as a whole. However, I have been closely tied to the implementation within my team. The key for my team has been consistency. Ensuring everyone has an opportunity to 'drive' a collaboration session, and get familiar with the various templates.
I have yet to integrate Miro with too many applications, however, it does integrate well with Microsoft Teams. This has been extremely efficient for our day-to-day work, as we use Teams constantly as our form of communication. Having a tab for Miro at the top of conversations or teams that we can quickly look to saves a lot of time.
This has been a game-changer for our team. Miro is our go-to tool for all collaboration meetings - from project planning, to design thinking sessions, to 'off the cuff' whiteboarding and capturing thoughts. Miro allows the entire team to work fluidly with each other, as close to 'being in the same room' as we can get.

Miro is great for teams working in remote locations. It is collaborative and helps you do virtual 'whiteboarding' sessions. Miro suits my teams' needs best during Design Thinking sessions, project planning sessions, or any scenario where we need multiple users editing the board in real-time simultaneously. I have only been introduced to Miro this past year, and I can't go back to life without it!
