Overall Satisfaction with Miro

It is being used across the whole organisation. For example, for departments update among the engineering team. There is a specific Miro board where different teams give their team updates throughout the business quarter. On top of this on a smaller level, I myself work within a team of 7 and we often use Miro Board for sprint planning for the next 2 weeks.
  • Communication.
  • Managing/delegating.
  • Keeping track of project work.
  • UI at time it does let me down at certain moments.
  • Unrestricted access to Miro Board to allow colleagues to work on the Miro board is a little complicated.
  • More options on fonts.
  • It's 5x or even more project completion time and complexity.
  • It's a cost efficient way on collabing on different projects and ideas.
  • It's fun to use!
In terms of implementing with different platforms, I guess Miro could be better integrated with software such as Google Meets. I often see myself switching screens mid-call when discussing projects or when someone decides to share their screens mid-talk. I feel there is a better way of integrating this with Google Meets. Like it's done for Microsoft Teams.
Right now the company I work for is going through a merger, and we are a cross-continent team trying to integrate our systems and teams into one company. Miro's online whiteboard allows us to share our ideas, and keep track of our progress instantly across the many different teams and platforms which has been extremely impactful.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is more widely adapted so for that it has a nice advantage. For example, for the merger, the other company's team used the Miro board so there was no reason at all for us to try to change platforms. One pitfall with Miro is when it is compared to FigJam since a lot of our design for UI come from Figma sometimes it is easier to present quick updates using FigJam. However, FigJam is lackluster compared to Miro.
It's great for collaboration on group projects, keeping track of projects, etc. Maybe a better way of reminding people what has been done in past "workshops."
