Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We are introducing a lean way of working to an administrative department and are using Miro as a means to standardize work for all subteams. Each team has its own board to create transparency in daily/weekly workload management, KPI, and improvement project tracking.
  • KPI management
  • Weekly/daily board
  • Improvement effort tracking
  • Easy integration with powerBI
  • Performance transparency for MT
  • Playfullness
We are still in the implementation phase and learning every day... Not many key insights regarding implementation. Just make sure to take some time to experiment and find the best way to use it for yourself.
We have managed to integrate excel, but it is not what we want it to be yet and it takes time to investigate and trial and error. Excel is used for daily workload management, but additionally, we want to integrate PowerBI for KPI tracking. This seems to be quite a challenge using API. We are not THAT technical.
Yes, it will. And adding video and speech should facilitate that further

  • MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
It is similar, just the buttons and way of interacting differs. But basically, it does the same thing. Miro has nicer templates though
We
are introducing a lean way of working to an administrative department and are
using Miro as a means to standardize work for all subteams. The tool is
intuitive and easy to share with team members. It took us some time to
structure the different boards for all the teams in projects for our own
overview, but everyone should experience what works for the team and specific use cases. For quick navigation we implemented one team with many separate projects, each project being a subteam of our administrative department. We look
forward to testing the video and call functionality during workshops that are normally in person. It will be nice to see the faces at the same time as the miro board. It needs some 'hands-on' experience to really get the hang of it, but that is the same for every
tool. If you are supporting others in using miro as well, definitely take some
time for that to let team members 'play' with a dummy board. Make sure to lock areas that need to be stable. As miro will be used for a
weekly/daily dashboard in our case it would be really helpful to be able to
integrate some KPIs from e.g. PowerBI easily, but not sure if that is already
possible...
