Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I am part of a group called the "unicorns". We use Miro on a regular basis for our monthly unicorn meetings to share information and practice with fellow employees.
  • Easy to Use - No Manual Required!
  • Allows multiple people to share on a common 'infinite whiteboard'.
  • Keeps us focused on our agenda by using templates that guide us through each meeting efficiently.
  • There is a 'hand/arrow' icon that switches from moving the entire board to manipulating elements. It would be easier if I could do this say by holding down a specific key without having to go over and toggle each time.
  • I suggest adding private boards to the free plan.
  • Allow multiple passwords to access the board/read only/read write etc.
  • Easy whiteboarding.
  • Saves time using other tools which for example don't automatically save work-work lost.
I am uncertain where the data is 'saved', Can I access and save local copies of Miro boards?
It took me a little getting used to at first, I came into it with no experience, it seems somehow much more intuitive for younger audiences.
We use templates to guide us along the process in our meetings. Miro helps us implement a consistent high-level agenda for each meeting.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I like them both about the same.
Miro is an amazing collaboration tool. When multiple people on the team want to run any kind of session like brainstorming, idea mapping, check-ins. I have seen it used for 'presentation' style as well, where one person just moves across the slides, but I don't think it really gives many advantages in a non-collaborative world..might as well just use PowerPoint.
