Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is the perfect tool for remote group work. We use them in many scenarios. We organize integration and warm-up games there, and conduct workshops (the functionality of voting, time, or covering part of the board by the leader is necessary). We also use Miro individually, e.g. to take notes or maintain a roadmap for the team's work.
  • teamwork (e.g. brainstorming, team-building games)
  • taking notes for your own needs
  • conducting presentations/workshops
  • sometimes it's difficult to export your work to another format
  • I miss (or maybe I don't know it exists?) the ability to add simple tables with functions like in Excel
  • shortens the warm-up/engagement time of the group before work
  • it's partly gamification. The attractive form makes the work an entertainment for participants (a nice change from traditional boards and self-adhesive notes)
  • There are many templates that, combined with intuitive operation (grab and drag), allow you to create e.g. interactive roadmaps
The tool is online, so we are not talking about any integration. The only issue is managing access for participants (sometimes private access has limited editing options, etc.)
All you need is a browser to work
Everything is intuitive and simple, so the entry barrier disappears. We connect via Teams and share the screen, but it's also nice that other people's cursors are visible on the board. There are many applications, the greatest benefits come from the involvement of all users. Many people can use the tool at the same time.
It is the most universal and offers the most possibilities.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I love conducting online workshops/trainings/research on Miro. There is an option for surveys, but sometimes you can create participant avatars and copy a separate table for each question (each next one is hidden until it's their turn). Then participants vote with their avatars, which creates great group dynamics and sometimes allows you to think outside the box
