Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is used to capture project notes, retro feedback, post mortem, System architecture, data flow diagrams and many more. The problem of collaborating in a remote working environment is addressed by Miro. We use it to collect ideas, information and thoughts from multiple team members. Create and share information. Miro lacks integration to common tools that are being used in enterprises. Need to increase interoperability with other office tools.
Ease of getting started, quick alignment and communication. Ease of adoption, no technical issues. Focus on project than on the tool. Personalization helps members be more engaged.
Miro started as a collaboration tool and we needed a tool in a remote work environment. We have expanded use of Miro for project artifacts and communication.

Miro is best suited for a online workshop to keep participants engaged and allow for collaboration. Creating a open canvas to capture all information related to a topic, ease of finding information, sharing research. Creating visual communication to stakeholders, architecture diagrams, feedback notes, system design, data flow diagrams, database entity diagram etc.
Miro is less appropriate for presentations where the presenter requires participants to pay attention without being on the board. transition from slides can be difficult and creating a replay of slides/frames. Lack of templates, shapes library, custom icons etc limit the flexibility and ease of creating internal diagrams.
