Monday makes Mondays not suck
Overall Satisfaction with monday.com
- Time saving is a huge piece of this program. Using the forms to flow requests in from other departments onto my to do list saves probably 15+ emails back and forth trying to gather all the information needed for a project. The form gathers all of that in one step.
- The task management saves the headache of losing tasks, emails getting buried, getting overwhelmed, etc.
- Time saver when it comes to onboarding. Having a homebase where we can keep track of the onboarding process and making sure everyone is up to speed is huge.
I use Monday.com to manage tasks from other clients/supervisors, to manage my own to do list, to manage tasks for my interns, as well as communicate work orders with third party companies. I use Monday.com every single day, and even love it for my own personal use as well. Our Creative Services department uses this product as well as our IT department. The most important piece is for the workflow of requests from other departments to our Creative Services department. They utilize the form function of [monday.com] to submit requests that then flow into our to do lists in [monday.com] to complete. It is an incredible workflow tool.
Pros
- Ease to Use - Teaching my new interns each semester how to function in [monday.com] is so incredibly easy and is understandable to everyone.
- Innovation - Monday is constantly evolving and changing and adding new features. They really are on the cusp of new technology and are constantly making it better for users.
- Automation - The automation in Monday is different and easier to use than any other work management tool I've tried. No other tool is as intuitive as [monday.com].
Cons
- The [monday.com] app unfortunately lacks some of the great functionality that the web version has. I use the app to quickly respond to someone, or add a task, but it isn't quite easy enough to use that I would use the app alone for all of my task management.
I have never had a feature in [monday.com] not work correctly. It just has never happened to me and I've been on the platform for 2+ years. There's not much more to say than that!
