monday.com is used across all revenue teams. It solves problem of workflow distribution and tracking across departments. Prior to monday.com, the team had various project management tools where it was not clear what teams were working on what projects or what the current status of cross-functional products was. monday.com allows us to create custom boards and views that let us see what items other teams are working on, but only ones relevant to our team's initiatives.

Its core benefit is that monday.com is an easy-to-use project management tool. If you know how to use Excel, you know how to use monday.com. Some of the project board templates are helpful as well, since you don't have to spend the time configuring the various settings across columns. The only integration we use is for Slack, which notifies us of updates to statuses.
Have had no issues with support or the need to use support.
We have had no performance or reliability issues. Automation rules function largely as expected and are critical to making sure work flows smoothly within and across teams. The ability for monday.com to be fully functional and online at all times is important for us since we are a global organization.

Suited for broad use cases where user training is not an obstacle. It's intuitive enough that most people know how to use it without doing some kind of official training program. monday.com is less suited for developer-focused project management, as it is lacking the advanced versioning, automation, and permissioning that would be required.
