Overall Satisfaction with PandaDoc

PandaDoc is how we send out all of our contracts and non-disclosure agreements to clients and partners. It is a time saver in that it allows us to work remotely more effectively by not having to print and scan agreements all the time. It's also great to be able to access all current and past contracts in one place.
  • Real-time notifications of views as well as when a party has completed the document
  • Ability to set up integrations with payment systems
  • Ability to program it to automatically send a completed contract to all relevant parties when it's been completed
  • Using templates that have already been created is very easy. Challenges arise when you're trying to create something unique from scratch.
  • It drives me crazy that there's no easy to find search function. If I'm looking for a completed agreement from months prior, I have to scroll through everything in the program to find it.
  • We have a section for templates. But on multiple occasions, someone has accidentally gone in and modified the template. Would be great to see a feature that notifies you if you're about to modify a template instead of just using it to create a new document.
  • PandaDoc saves our company a ton of time, particularly those of us in sales
  • It leads to a higher close rate as we have our terms and conditions on a page on our site, and the client just needs to check the box that they accept the T&Cs
  • Having all docs stored in one place in the cloud means greater efficiency and less need for a physical office location
Templates, content, library, integrations, automated workflows makes creating a contract a breeze once the administrator on the account gets everything set up. I can whip up a contract in less than 5 minutes, provided it's nothing outside the norm. The only issue is when a contract doesn't fit neatly into a box. Creating a unique contract/statement of work drives me slightly crazy since my experience is largely confined to using tools that have already been set up so there's a ton of trial and error involved in getting it done.
Two of the things I love most about PandaDoc are: 1. Getting notifications that a contract has been viewed/signed, etc. As someone in biz dev, seeing that a contract has been viewed but not signed alerts me to the fact that maybe the deal isn't as firm as I'd thought, and getting a notification that it's been completed gives me the dopamine rush that's kept me in sales throughout my career. 2. I also love the ability to share via link for when, for whatever reason, someone is having difficulty accessing the doc.
One of my colleagues has taken to using background images and other visual elements in his agreements to make the contracts feel less stuffy/boring. I love the versatility of what we can do when we put agreements together, even if I'm only now just beginning to learn what options are available to me.
  • NDAs - it's good to be able to see who is under one simply by checking our PandaDocs
  • This is still sales, but we set up a part our contracts to list multiple billing contacts multi-locations businesses, which saved us our admin/billing team a lot of time

Do you think PandaDoc delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with PandaDoc's feature set?

Yes

Did PandaDoc live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of PandaDoc go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy PandaDoc again?

Yes

PandaDoc is an excellent contract tool, particularly for distributed teams working remotely from home offices. PandaDoc would not be well-suited to an old fashioned organization where leadership likes to have piles of paper filed away in cabinets. It's also ideal for teams that have set contracts that everyone uses on a regular basis.
