Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity for all of our HR and Payroll needs, including recruiting, performance, HRIS, surveys, and communication. We are a natural foods cooperative.
  • Seamless integration with recruiting, applicant tracking, and on-boarding
  • Ability to do all on-boarding electronically
  • General HRIS functionality
  • I wish that in the recruiting module there was room for interview notes on each candidate. I can track where they are in the process but not leave notes. For example was late for interview, no showed interview, is a future interest candidate, etc.
  • Some status changes require going to multiple screens and it can be easy to miss something when an employee is changing from hourly to salary or part-time to full-time.
  • Some of the training and supporting materials in PEAK is outdated.
  • The main benefit has been an improved candidate experience and a quicker time to hire. Previously it would take use several weeks from interview to start date, now I can get someone hired within a few days.
  • Our employee experience has also been enhanced with the user of one system, previously we had separate systems for everything, time tracking, scheduling, employee data, recruiting, etc. having one systems has streamlined all employee processes.
Employees are able to manage more of their own tasks without the need for HR to get involved which gives us more time to focus on strategic initiatives.
Rolling out Community was a little slow but our employees have really started to use this system and seem to really enjoy receiving peer feedback. We have also found it very useful to get information out to all employee in a timely manner.
Paylocity seemed like a more user friendly system with additional modules we could add as we needed them.

I believe that it is a good solution for smaller companies not necessarily for large ones.
