Overall Satisfaction with Procore

There was an initial learning curve for everyone but that has been overcome.
For most it was an easy transition. There are still aspects like how documents look that still need to be fixed. Graphic design is not strong aspect for the program.
We use Procore for commercial construction project management, from the start of the project bidding, during the construction process for communication and document management, though punch list.
  • Bidding invitation and communication.
  • Vendor directory management.
  • Project communication.
  • Missing correspondence signature function similar to email.
  • Access to certain functions are limited to admin users. Example bidding - standard company users on a project should be able to access bid list to mark who is bidding.
  • Changes to standard template should be flow through to projects for bidding invites.
  • Punch list should be able to tag multiple trades for items.
  • Procore drive should act like Dropbox /Box/Google Drive. you should not have to download the whole folder every time to get documents.
It is a good tool for submittal and RFI coordicanation. Everyone on the project can view the documents and actions taken.
  • Time saved because can mass mail to all bidders easily.
  • Increased efficiency through document automation like submittal cover sheets.
