Overall Satisfaction with Procore
Procore was used by the project manager, project coordinator, and bookkeeper. It was supposed to address the need for tracking budgets and job progress.
- Procore has the ability to track and remind you about expiring insurance certificates. I like that.
- It has the ability to request bid proposals and track responses.
- Create folders for project related documents.
- Upload plans and find the most current version and/or redlined versions. Also share them with vendors and employees.
- Expensive
- It takes a lot of time to set up.
- It takes a lot of time to learn.
- Only 30 days to have one on one help getting to know it (onboard). This isn't enough time when you are trying to run your company and set up Procore. It takes a lot of time to use it and get familiar with all of its functions.
If we had the time to get everyone to use it, this would benefit the company. But since it takes so much time to get everyone onboard, we never really reached full collaboration. We wanted to love it, but just couldn't get there.
- It was our goal to increase efficiency having everything in one place. But since we never fully got everyone to use it, we lost money from the investment. Over time it could have saved time and money.
- Red Team
Procore is more robust. Red Team only works with QuickBooks Online. Red Team manages direct costs better and syncs with email.
