Overall Satisfaction with Procore

Procore still has a way to go before it can seamlessly integrate with Spectrum and push the data to the financial system. Plug into a CRM would be great and allows users to be able to update and contact the contacts we need in order to ensure communication is being completed seamlessly.
My experience with Procore has been mostly positive with some small issues that come up with workflows and the way we need to execute on aspects of projects. Permissions are easy to deploy, user administration is easy, reporting could be much better in layout and data manipulation. Updates to the interface are frequent and need to be announced to the user base better. Support is responsive and easy to work with even when dealing with service outages. It is easy to spin up projects from pre-configured templates. Procore is a useful and time-saving tool that allows us as a commercial general contractor to be able to keep track of, manage, maintain, and run multiple active projects with a proactive approach.
  • Mobility and ease of field use make Procore the key to a successful project because it enables live communication between the Project Managers in the office and the Superintendents in the field.
  • Inspections are a breeze with the ability to create and submit checks along with Observations that can both take photo attachments straight from the device taking the picture.
  • Accessibility. I can manage Procore from anywhere in the world as long as I have an online connection.
  • Update pre-notification would be great. Users prefer to know what is changing if it is a small update to the user interface.
  • Stability in the field. If Superintendents or users don't update their Procore apps, the data they are working with is old and they lose ability to upload to the Procore site.
  • Internal markups for as-builts that can be shared with other users in the company and not the rest of the project team.
  • Dexter Chaney Spectrum and Timberline
Procore is easy to use and user friendly. Without having to view data sheets and line items, Procore presents an easy to understand and cohesive approach to projects. Navigation and working on each tool is presented logically and in a manner that any non computer literate user can understand and adapt to with ease.
Procore's collaboration capabilities allow multiple Superintendents to work anywhere anytime. That allows for Project Managers to take that information and produce great snapshots for Owners and Subcontractors to understand what is happening and what still needs to be done in order to complete a project on time and under budget.
  • Procore saves paper by putting the inspections, drawings, logs, and notes all in one place.
  • The training for Procore is top notch and allows users to be spun up quickly within the environment.
  • Gain visibility into projects
  • Ensure information is accessible and up to date
  • Document job site conditions
  • Report on incidents and inspections
  • Identify job site risks
  • Track cost impacts from the field
We use the Safety, Project, and Core. Safety allows Superintendent to input violations, inspections, and observations of site conditions on the fly. Project allows for 1:1 communication of the progress of constructions from the field to the office with a few taps of a tablet. Core enables the management and easy access to all documentation aspects of the project.
Field to Project Manager communications. In the event, it is a large project and a steady guide is needed to manage the project, Procore enables users to be able to take photos and make live observations that allow the Project Managers in the office the ability to monitor the project progress without having to actually drive to the site.

I want an all-in-one solution that can handle all aspects of the project process including company finances, CRM, and Human Resources. It is essential to allow for the tool to be easily used, integrated, and implemented across the entire company. Today Procore is not utilized by some of my staff due to lack of functionality where we need it.

Procore Support

Support is helpful and does their best to see the issue resolved but certain situations do not get resolved. Other situations, I have to notify Procore of an outage instead of knowing there is an outage from them. Support needs a little help with navigating the site sometimes when a problem is explained. They tend to force you to go over the solutions you have tried already before moving forward with a solution.
ProsCons
Quick Resolution
Problems get solved
No escalation required
Immediate help available
Support cares about my success
Quick Initial Response
Less knowledgeable
Not kept informed
Need to explain problems multiple times
Yes - Bugs that get submitted, take about a month for resolution. To be fair, that is probably the fastest turn around on bugs I have seen when pertaining to cloud software. Typically Procore is happy to work to identify, document, and submit a bug to be resolved if any are reported. I have seen some great consistency with the software.
All of my experiences with Procore support have been fairly average and not great or notable. They are capable to handle their job and provide a friendly and ready attitude towards solving problems. I consider the support better than most software providers which is saying a lot about the industry and application support as a whole.
