Overall Satisfaction with Procore
Our organization uses Procore for documentation control and integrated project management for our project management team. We do not use it across the whole organization, Only the project management teams use it, estimating, purchasing, accounting, and our executives do not use Procore.
- The ability to edit and modify all fields has been a large strength for Procore compared to their competition.
- The submittal tool is very user friendly and has increased my productivity in processing submittals.
- The ability to view specification sections while you are in a submittal has been very helpful in my reviews.
- The ability to link changes to various documents in Procore. Right now I can only see RFIs, but changes come from submittals as well.
- Procore has been experiencing growing pains where the number of users has slowed down the program and sometimes prevented me from logging in because too many users are trying to access the program at one time.
- The release of updates has also been an issue for Procore. They release an update and it creates some instability in the program which has them scrambling to fix it.
My company has benefited greatly from Procore's cloud-based unlimited user licenses. In our industry it is almost required to provide a collaborative documentation management system. We used to have two systems, one for internal management and one for collaborative documentation management. Procore has allowed us to integrate both systems into one, reducing redundancies.
- Increased productivity
- Provided a one stop shop for all our project management needs
- Saved tons of paper!
- Ensure information is accessible and up to date
- Document job site conditions
Procore allows us to keep real time documentation available at the job site. The Procore app allows our people as well as the workers in the field access to submittals, RFIs and contract documents. If there is a question in the field they do not need to walk back to the trailer to get the information, it right on their phones.
