Overall Satisfaction with Procore

Procore is being used across the entire company for project management.
  • Drawing Log - makes it efficient and easy to track drawing revisions including received date and overlay's to track changes to individual pages.
  • Email - each project in Procore gets its own email address. This makes it easy for everyone to CC the project email address so end users can view emails in Procore without needing access to individual user email accounts.
  • Transmittals - the transmittal tool makes it easier to send transmittals to distribution groups and automatically manages the transmittal log.
  • Cost codes need improvement. Currently, it shows the entire level structure. It would be nice if you could show just the last level to avoid clutter.
  • Forms tool - have the web version of the forms tool work similar to the app version.
  • Drawing tool - be able for the user to define rev orders.
We selected Procore over HCSS due to more modules being available.
The unlimited user option was a HUGE selling point. Not having to worry about how many licenses you have means we can invite everyone (internal, vendors, subcontractors, etc.). This helps with adoption and the tools in Procore work more efficiently if all parties are involved.
  • We save a ton of time on log management. All of the tools (RFI, submittals, transmittals, drawing log) manage the logs automatically.
  • The project-specific email address that can be CC'd when using a traditional email program has been a big time saver when hunting down past emails. Being able to do it through a tool in Procore without having to involve IT (how our email searched worked in the past) is a big benefit.
  • Gain visibility into projects
  • Ensure information is accessible and up to date
  • Document job site conditions
  • Report on incidents and inspections
  • Identify job site risks
  • Streamline financial reporting
Just having one location for everything project-related is important. This is ultimately why we chose Procore. Just about every department has a module that works for them. Gone are the days of having to log in or use multiple programs - everything is contained and shared through Procore.
In several instances, the Procore reps helping us with the integrations had out of date information. Often times it was easier just to use trial and error on the end user side. The documentation online is also hit or miss - some of it is very good while some are VERY out of date (like the old gray interface out of date).
Well suited if you are a Prime Contractor. Can be more difficult to use as a subcontractor.
